Additional Notes

Students must select at least 3 credits from the following Methodology courses (additional courses can be counted towards elective credits):

All students must attend a 3-hour Academic Research Ethics seminar (which can be waived by the "Research Ethics" course).

  1. In addition to the minimum 30 credits required for graduation as per university regulations, the advisor may require the completion of research-related courses.
  2. A maximum of 9 credits may be recognized from courses taken outside the department.
  3. Students from non-education-related fields must take "Educational Research Methods" as a prerequisite, and these credits can count towards graduation.
  4. To select "Advanced Educational Statistics," students must first complete "Educational Statistics," and these credits can count towards graduation. Students from previous departments or undergraduate programs with relevant statistical backgrounds may be exempt from "Educational Statistics."
